Review our terms of use, privacy practices, and operational boundaries governing the CineAtlas interface.
Terms of Service
Acceptance of user terms
By accessing or using the CineAtlas website and discovery interface, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not accept these terms in full, you must discontinue use of the platform immediately.
Acceptable Use: CineAtlas is provided for personal, non-commercial media exploration. You agree not to execute automated scrapers, denial-of-service attacks, or unauthorized data extraction against our catalog or backend APIs.
Platform Updates: We reserve the right to alter, refine, or discontinue features, routes, or catalog categories without prior notice.
Privacy Practices
Data handling and storage disclosure
No Account Requirements: CineAtlas does not require user accounts, passwords, or personal identity verification. You can browse and discover freely without creating a profile.
Local Browser Storage: Your playback state, auto-play preferences, and recent watchlist entries are stored strictly on your local device via standard browser storage (LocalStorage). This data is never sent to or logged on CineAtlas servers.
First-Party Cookies: CineAtlas uses a single first-party cookie (cineatlas.locale) exclusively to remember your language selection between server renders.
Third-Party Players: External streaming embed sources may maintain their own privacy policies, cookies, and network requests over which CineAtlas exercises no control.
DMCA & Copyright Policy
Takedown procedures & rights protection
CineAtlas respects copyright laws and expeditiously processes valid takedown requests under 17 U.S.C. § 512. Since CineAtlas hosts no media files, notices submitted to us result in the removal of indexed references.
Limitation of Liability
Service provided as-is
CineAtlas is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. CineAtlas makes no guarantee that the service will remain uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors.
In no event shall CineAtlas or its operators be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the service.
